Rachel Hathorn was born and raised in Orlando, Florida and moved to Spokane in the summer of 2023 with her husband and two pups.
She has a Bachelor of Science in Biology, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Central Florida. Early on in her nursing career, she worked for several years on the maternal infant unit, newborn nursery, and labor delivery team in Orlando, Florida. In 2017, Rachel graduated from the University of South Florida with a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Pediatric Health. Rachel is a board certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and has worked in pediatric primary care for over six years in Florida, Louisiana, and Washington. Prior to starting her nursing career, Rachel taught middle school science for several years.
Rachel’s belief is that all children deserve well-rounded, holistic, and family-centered care. She focuses on making both her patients, and their family members, feel heard, respected, and empowered.
In her free time, Rachel enjoys cooking, camping, biking, and spending time with her family. She is excited to make new memories exploring what the Pacific Northwest has to offer!
