Marisa Dieter was born and raised in Missoula, Montana. She attended Carroll College in Helena, Montana where she competed as a pole vaulter for the track and field team while earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, graduating in 2014. After college she moved to Spokane, Washington and worked as an ER and ICU nurse for several years. She attended Gonzaga University and graduated with a Masters of Science in Nursing and became a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners in 2022. Marisa has worked with the adult and geriatric populations, but her passion is pediatrics and she is so excited to join the SPUC team.
Marisa strives to ensure that her patients and their families feel as comfortable and safe as possible while working with her. She understands that being sick or injured can be a scary time for kids as well as their parents and believes that honesty and transparency are vital to a good working relationship. She also believes that providing clear information, discussing care plans and options openly, and respecting patient and family preferences leads to the best outcomes, which is her goal for each patient.
Marisa lives in Liberty Lake with her husband and two goldendoodles. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, weekends at the lake, hiking with her dogs, reading, and going out to eat.
