With nearly a decade of experience in nursing, Jamie MacPherson has dedicated her career to providing compassionate and comprehensive care. Starting as a nurse, Jamie spent eight years honing her skills in various hospital units, including adult neurology, ACU, GI/GU, orthopedics, surgical, and mother/baby (postpartum). Her diverse experience in the float pool allowed her to adapt quickly and provide high-quality care across multiple specialties.
Transitioning to outpatient care, Jamie worked with the Nurse Family Partnership, conducting home visits for pregnant women, infants, and toddlers. This role deepened her commitment to community health and preventive care. While pursuing her NP degree, Jamie also gained valuable experience as a travel nurse in hospitals across Washington.
Achieving the goal of becoming a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner has been a significant milestone in Jamie’s career. Her passion for working with children and partnering with parents to ensure the health and well-being of young patients is evident in her daily practice.
Jamie holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Washington State University and an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner and Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner from Spring Arbor University.
Driven by the joy and fulfillment that comes from partnering with parents in the health of their children, Jamie finds immense happiness in bringing smiles to young faces and aiding in their healing process.
Outside of work, Jamie enjoys playing guitar and singing, exploring the beautiful outdoors of the Pacific Northwest, and spending quality time with family and friends. She is actively involved in her church and has a strong passion for medical mission work, particularly in Ethiopia and Malawi. Jamie aspires to bring medical resources to these communities, a goal that aligns with her dedication to global health and service.
