Kristina Follger grew up in Spokane. She attended Ferris High School before going on to gain her Bachelor’s in nursing from Washington State University. After graduation she moved to Coeur d’Alene, Idaho where she worked at Kootenai Health Hospital. While there she worked in the adult progressive care unit and floated into the ICU. In 2018 she was ready to start taking a more active role in patient care and began graduate school at Gonzaga University.
During her clinical rotations Kristina fell in love with working with pediatric patients. She loved the ability to partner with patients and their families to promote life long health. When she graduated in 2020 she started at Lakeside Pediatrics. While her time there was very special to her, she is thrilled to now be moving back to Spokane and joining the Mt. Spokane Pediatrics team.
Kristina continues to find joy in working with pediatric patients of all ages. There is a special place in her heart in working with teenagers as well as first time parents. Kristina is committed to continuing to stay up to date on new scientific advancements and guidelines to provide excellent care to her patients.
When she is not working Kristina can be found working on home remodel projects, reading, crafting, and spending time outdoors. She enjoys time with family friends playing games and eating delicious foods. Most of all, Kristina loves to spend time with her dogs.
