Brittany Chavez, grew up traveling in the western states. She is the youngest of five and was homeschooled up until college. She started her college career at 16 where she attended Spokane Community College to gain her Registered Nursing degree. Out of college, she began working in medically fragile children in their home while continuing her education working towards her Bachelors in Nursing Science from Sacred Heart University. For 8 years she worked with medically fragile children both in the home and as a case manager where she assisted the families and care team for the best care of their children in the home. in 2019 she attended United States University where she earned her degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Brittany is passionate about medically fragile communities and strives to create inclusive caring environment to help patients be at ease during their visit.
Brittany has worked with medically fragile pediatric patients from various cultures in their homes which has given her increased interprofessional skills and cultural awareness. Her unique background and perspective offers to tailor plans of care and treatment to the unique need of the patient and their culture.
In her free time, she likes to spend time outdoors with her 4 children, husband, and goodlendoodle. During the summertime she spends her time camping, hiking, and stand-up paddle boarding, during the winter cooking, reading, and skiing with her children.
