From birth through age 21, it is important for children to receive periodic evaluation to assess their physical and cognitive development and growth. Your provider will check their height and weight, discuss whether they are meeting milestones, review safety issues, and address any concerns you may have. We may discuss issues such as eating, sleeping, potty training, social interactions, or learning difficulties. Identifying any physical or behavioral problems early may be critical in order to keep them from progressing.

Well-child visits also provide the opportunity for you and your child to develop a relationship with your pediatric provider and help them obtain an ongoing picture of your child’s health in order to more easily identify any deviation from normal.

We offer same day appointments for sick visits to quickly address your child’s illness or specific healthcare problems, from coughs and colds to breathing problems, allergies, or ear infections. Extended hours are available some days; call for more details.

Mt. Spokane Pediatrics is happy to offer treatment of minor injuries as well as certain procedures. We are available to suture small lacerations, address sprains, freeze warts, and more.

At Mt. Spokane Pediatrics, we offer full assessment, diagnosis, and management of behavioral and mental health issues such as ADHD, depression, and anxiety. We will provide an extended initial visit to thoroughly assess the issues your child faces, as well as incorporating various screening tools. If your child receives a diagnosis, we will offer options for treatment from behavioral suggestions to medication as well as referrals for counseling or further evaluation if necessary.
