Dr. Jeff Schilt received his master’s and doctoral degrees in nursing from Washington State University’s Intercollegiate College of Nursing. Since then, he has provided pediatric primary care in both urban and rural settings. Additionally, he has previous experience in urgent care as well as emergency medicine at Sacred Heart Pediatric ER.
After several years of gaining experience, Jeff also obtained his certification as a pediatric primary care mental health specialist, recognizing his expertise in identification, intervention, and treatment of mental health and behavioral health concerns in children and adolescents. He is skilled in assessing for and managing mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, and ADHD.
Jeff is passionate about providing families with the skills and education they need to positively impact their children’s future health. He welcomes patients of all backgrounds and supports parents’ choices for their children, seeking to provide each family with a personalized treatment plan to suit their child’s needs.
In his free time, Jeff enjoys life with his four children in the rural north Spokane area. He keeps busy with his kids, as well as exercise and weight lifting, and tinkering with electronics.
