Whitney Bowen was born and raised in Nashville, TN and moved to Spokane in 2022 with her one eared cat Gimpy. You will know Whitney by her Southern accent.
She graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2014 and worked at the University of Tennessee Knoxville Medical Center as a RN. She started on the urology/nephrology floor then moved to the float pool, where she worked in every area in the hospital. She began her Masters of Science in Nursing with concentrations in Family Nurse Pactitioner and Nursing Education in 2016 and completed the program in 2019. She passed her boards and became board certified with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).Whitney has worked in the urgent care setting as a provider and enjoys being able to take care of those who need her the most. She has experience treating both adults and children, but her passion is for the pediatric population.
Whitney wants to make every patient she sees feel as comfortable as possible. Being sick and not feeling well is always hard, and she makes it her goal to make the appointments as positive as possible for everyone. Her goal is to be as open and transparent as possible every visit, and wants the patient and family to feel confident that they are being cared for.
In her free time, Whitney loves to travel, both stateside and internationally. Her hobbies include reading, baking and shopping.
