Maria Everett, DNP, ARNP, PNP-PC grew up in Spokane before moving to the west side to attend Pacific Lutheran University, graduating with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing degree. Following graduation, she moved to Seattle and started her career in the Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care unit at Swedish Medical Center. While working as an RN, Maria enjoyed building relationships with families of many different backgrounds, providing family support, and caring for premature and critically ill newborns. She also trained and acted as a member of the high risk delivery and code team.

Maria decided to advance her career and become a nurse practitioner so that she could build long-lasting relationships with families. Maria strives to provide evidence-based and holistic care for all families from birth throughout childhood. Maria attended the University of Washington to obtain her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree in the specialty of Pediatric Primary Care. She is Board certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board, and is a member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. Maria is passionate about advocating for the needs of children through helping families to provide the ideal home environment. Maria loves to provide thoughtful information and work together with caregivers and patients to help children be as healthy as they can be.

When Maria is not at work she spends most of her time outdoors. In the summer she can be found cycling, running, or backpacking. In the winter she loves spending time snowshoeing and skiing. She also enjoys a rainy day spent at home reading, working on a project, or trying out a new recipe.
