Brenna Rittenour received her family nurse practitioner degree from Frontier Nursing University, and is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Prior to this, she worked as a registered nurse in the inpatient setting, as well as outpatient eating disorder care. Her motivation to pursue a career as a nurse practitioner was born through her work as a nurse in the outpatient setting, working alongside nurse practitioners who inspired her through their dedication to serve vulnerable populations.

Brenna has spent most of her life in the Spokane area, and is excited to be able to give back to her community by serving the pediatric population. She is passionate about providing inclusive care to all her patients, and helping them feel seen and included in their appointments. She loves working with patients of all ages, and partnering with them and their parents to meet their individual health goals. Her experience in psychiatric nursing and eating disorder care has given her a deep compassion and skill to work with patients in these vulnerable situations. She approaches her care with honesty, approachability, and adaptability to each patient experience. She believes that each patient and family is the expert for their own body and experience, and that it’s her job to partner with them.

Outside of work Brenna enjoys getting outside, hiking, doing yoga in the park, and spending time with her niece and nephews. Some of her hobbies include reading, writing, playing the violin, and cooking. She lives with her two cats, and enjoys quiet evenings spent with them and a good book.
